👋 Hi there,
I’m Nylo de Meijer a Dutch visual designer (web, UX/UI, content, graphic), photography, videographer with a big heart for social media and music.
I started my own alternative online music magazine, Smash Press, when I was 18 years old. In February 2022 I decided it was time to close this chapter after 9 years. I learned so much about managing a team (in total more than 50 people have volunteered), how to make a brand in a small niche, create a name that people know, have contact with other businesses, how to take photos, do (video)interviews with world famous bands and much, múch more.
I honestly love to learn as much as I possibly can about everything. I’m an extremely enthousiast creative. There is always so much more that I can learn. Learning is key. 🙏
February 2021 – February 2022
February 2019 – February 2021
At MassMovement, a new style full service agency: strategic, creative and technical, with a focus on results. Whatever a project entails, we mix strategy, concepting, development, community management and advertising together. From the beginning. I’m responsible for concepts, design, photography, videography and protecting the corporate identity.
August 2017 – February 2019
Worked at ZZESTO, where I created visual identities and give ideas a meaning and a face. We designed books to promote selling multi-million-euro buildings. For example I designed books to help sell the Parnassus Tower in the Amsterdam South Axis and the UID Amsterdam project, at Amsterdam ArenA near the Johan Cruijff Arena. But we also did websites and corporate identities now and then.
January 2015 – July 2017
I worked at Centralpoint.nl as a visual designer, photographer and social media manager. On a daily basis I protected the corporate identity, designed special webpages about the likes of Samsung, HP, Dell and more and did e-mailmarketing.
